In particular, nothing on this site constitutes:

Medical advice. Never delay seeking, or disregard, the advice of a doctor or qualified health professional because of something you have read here. If you are unwell, or in a mental-health crisis, contact a medical professional or emergency service.
Financial or investment advice. Do not make investment, borrowing, trading or business decisions on the basis of a reading.
Legal advice. Consult a qualified lawyer about legal matters.
Psychological or relationship counselling. Compatibility scores are a traditional calculation, not an assessment of any real relationship.

On predictions

Vedic astrology is a traditional system of interpretation. Predictions describe tendencies and timing as the tradition understands them; they are not statements of fact about the future and carry no guarantee of any outcome. Different schools and different astrologers legitimately reach different conclusions from the same chart.

You retain full responsibility for your own decisions and their consequences.

On calculation accuracy

Planetary positions, panchang elements and transit timings are computed using the Swiss Ephemeris and established astronomical algorithms, and we take their accuracy seriously. However:

Results depend entirely on the birth date, time and place you supply. An inaccurate birth time produces an inaccurate chart, and even a few minutes can change the ascendant.
Where a birth time is unknown, a default is used and the resulting chart should be treated as indicative only.
Local sunrise, sunset and muhurta timings vary with location and elevation, and are given to a practical rather than an absolute precision.
Some advanced modules are computed with documented simplifications. Where that is the case, the report says so on the page.

On remedies

Gemstones, mantras, fasts, donations and other remedies are described as they appear in classical texts. They are cultural and spiritual practices, not medical treatments, and no therapeutic claim is made for them. Consult a qualified practitioner before wearing a prescribed gemstone, and never substitute a remedy for medical care.

On AI-assisted content

Some narrative interpretations may be generated with AI assistance from the underlying astronomical calculation. Such text can contain errors or infelicities. The astronomical figures themselves are computed, not generated.

On third-party consultations

Astrologers available for consultation are independent practitioners. Their opinions are their own and do not represent the views of Veda Jyotish.
