Delete Your Account

You can delete your Veda Jyotish account yourself, at any time. Everything in it is deleted with it, at once and for good.

How to delete it

• In the VJ Customer app: More → Name & password → Delete account.
• In the VJ Astrologer app: Profile → Delete account.
• On the website: sign in, open your Account page (the gear at the top of every page) and use Delete account at the bottom.

You are asked for your password and to confirm. If a chat with an astrologer is in progress, end it first.

If you cannot sign in, set a new password from the sign-in page (Forgot password?), or write to support@vedajyotish.com from the email address registered to your account.

What is deleted

Everything in the account:

• your profile and login details (name, email, mobile number and password), and every phone or browser signed in to it;
• the birth details you saved, and the charts, horoscopes, readings, matches and remedies made from them;
• your plan, your payment records, and your wallet with its history — any balance left in the wallet is lost and is not refunded;
• your chats: everything written in them, any birth details you shared with an astrologer, and your feedback;
• for an astrologer, also the astrologer profile, the ID proof and certificate, the rate, the bank details and the payout records.

Nothing can be brought back afterwards.

What stays

A chat is also the other person's record. Its bare record — the date, how long it lasted, what it cost and the star rating — stays with the other side (an astrologer's earnings, a customer's history), with your name and everything said in it removed.

Payments made through Stripe or PhonePe are also recorded by those companies under their own policies, which we do not control.
